camera triggering on video detection. saving via ftp, server filezilla running on win7-64.
The firmware is: Software Version 2.420.AC00.15.R, build : 2016-09-08
sporadically the camera attempts to write to the dir 2000-01-01 which of course does not exist.
Here is the log from my ftp server:

i'm thinking i'll create this dir just to see if it actually writes to it. then at least i may get the recording.
sporadically attempts to use 2000-01-01 dir
Re: sporadically attempts to use 2000-01-01 dir
Hello ricg ,
Camera is trying to create directory based on the system date. Please set the camera data and time under setup > System >general to the current date and see if that works.

Re: sporadically attempts to use 2000-01-01 dir
i seem to have resolved this by opening up all the permissions on the ftp server. allowing r/w access, listing, etc.
at least i haven't seen it since changing the permissions. it was as i said sporadic.
