I have a IP3M-954E and would like to make sure my assumptions are correct.
It looks like if I want to stream video over the internet to the Amcrest Pro iPhone app, I have to open port 37777 on my router. I also have to give it a username and password.
How is this password being delivered to the camera? Over HTTP? HTTPS? Or is it unencrypted?
Same question for the Amcrest Surveillance Pro desktop app?
Is the traffic on 37777 encrypted?
Is HTTPS on this camera ONLY for secure web access and nothing else?
