SmartClient is unstable on my Windows 10 Professional machine

It crashes at irregular intervals, roughly from 9 - 24 hours. Here is an example of the Application log trace:

Another SmartClient issue: If I minimize the application while it is running, I can't switch back to it. The icon on the bottom of the screen disappears, and it doesn't show up in the ALT-TAB rotation. If I try to relaunch it I get an error saying that it's already running. The only way out of this is to go into Task Manager, kill it, then restart.

Have you tried running it in Windows compatibility mode?

I am having issues with the smartclient crashing every 10-15 min. The web client seems to freeze in IE and Chrome? Need help as my client is ready to pull this system out.
