Smart play

Can smart play not access a network drive on a mac? all that is listed is the hardrive. I want to see video on a network share that i am currently logged into.

If the network drive is mapped to your Mac then it should work. It cannot detect a network drive otherwise.

It doesn't see an mapped drives only the mac harddrive. i copied a 61mb .dav_ file to my desktop and tried to play it and nothing, nada, zero, no errors blank.

EDIT: Ok i copied some files local. i found that if i removed the _ from the end of the file(which i thought was weird) it would play is Smart Play. Still not seeing attached network drives.
