Hello everyone,
I have an IPM-743ES used to record a vehicle gate (recorded live 24/7/365), which replaced a defective IPM-722S. The 722S footage was originally recorded using iSpy. However, after connecting iSpy to the 743ES, the image ends up being severely distorted (heavily pixelated) and unviewable, not only in iSpy but in the live web feed as well. When I set the image encoding for the live feed to H.264 instead of MJPEG, the image on the feed is fine, but I can't get iSpy to connect. I've looked for suggestions on iSpy's documentation, as well as posted a question on their user forum - however neither has yielded any results. Can anyone recommend how to configure iSpy properly to view this camera, or recommend the best software for recording the Amcrest footage?
Thanks in advance,
Michael
Severe image distortion recording IPM-743ES to iSpy
Re: Severe image distortion recording IPM-743ES to iSpy
Found solution on my own. Removed iSpy and installed Blue Iris instead. No further issues.
