I have a NV2116. Go it all setup with currently 9 cameras. Everything working but the channel naming.
On the NVR itself I am unable to change the channel names from the default CAM1, CAM2, etc...
I can select the location to where you would change the name but nothing happens when I chick on any channel. I would expect to get the on screen keyboard.
I also tried via the web interface and the channel name fields are grayed out.
What am I missing>
Thanks
Setting channel name
Re: Setting channel name
Hi mastermind007,
On web view navigete to setup>camera>channel name , If the cameras were added to the perticular channel you should be able to edit it, Only non copnnected channels will be grayed out. check the firmware and try defaulting settings it may fix.

Re: Setting channel name
Sorry for not responding earlier.
The unit has the latest firmware. Actually it looks like the only firmware for it.
System Version:3.200.AC00.0
Build Date:05-16-2017
This is the same as the latest listed on the firmware page for this model.
I still cannot change the default cameras names either from the unit itself or the web interface. They are grayed out with the default CAM1, CAM2, CAM3, etc...
The cameras are all working find as is everything else as far as I can see.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Setting channel name
I have the same problem. I also am at the latest firmware. Was there any resolution?
