Secure http certificate

I tried setting up the secure http access on my ipcam but it gives a certificate error. Anyway this will be resolved by Amcrest or are the cameras not able to use https?

The 841 cameras have an expired cert loaded in their firmware. If you access them with a browser you have to add an exception for the camera, after being warned, then you should be ok. All the cameras use the same expired cert so there is no real way to verify who you're talking to, but the SSL encryption still works.
