Can someone tell me the technical term for when the DVR is cycling through views of the 8 cameras?
I clicked something somewhere in the Main Menu that is causing the display to cycle through the 8 cameras over and over and over again.. and I can't find a way to stop it or to get back to the main menu (any menu!) where I may be able to turn off whatever I turned on.
Just to close this all out, I spent about 4 hours !! on the phone today with Amcrest 2nd level support... and at the end of the day, they are issuing me a RMA and having me send the DVR back. After lots and lots of attempts, they were unable to figure out what was wrong.. and get it running.
I give them an A for effort... but it's surely not a good way to start out. This was essentially day 1 with Amcrest.. the unit had only arrived here on Saturday morning!
