Amcrest 943 cams on a Amcrest NV4108E-HS with a 1TB harddrive
What is the easiest way to get a section of file onto a usb stick from the storage harddrive? I want show someone a 30 minute section of tape. I have the date and times I want but don't know how to get it onto a usb. Is there a tutorial that will instruct? Thanks.

Re: save to usb
Put the USB stick in the NVR. Play the footage back starting about 20 seconds or Min before time to start. Then when you want to start the Clip on the bottom right side above the play bars is a Video clip click it to start the time say at 12:40:36PM was the time to start then you can play it back or I just fast forward with the 4x speed until just before I want to end the backup area.. Once there your in play mode again you press that clip and it will now show the end time then press that Diskette icon on the right next to the start and stop times while I don't know if you can do it after stopping I have tried and can't seem to get it to work..
Sadly at times I forget that it isn't my other system and I will press the stop and then it seems I can't get it to save have to do the play back and clip up again on my other system I can press stop and it prompts me that I have some clips needing to be saved do it now? I press yes and all good.. But Amcrest devices I have to do it while still in playback mode...

Re: save to usb
Thank You Revo2Maxx
I ended up downloading it to my computer through the internet explorer browser. I then found out that it saves it as a .dav file which I have nothing to play it with. I used handbrake to convert it to an mp4 [mkv].
I will try it directly off the NVR, but how will it know to save to the USB? and will it still be a .dav file xtnsn?

Re: save to usb
If you addThumb drive to your NVR USB port on the front that is where it would put the files you want.. However there is a Menu that does come up and it gives you the ability to change the drive if you had more then 1 installed... However with the Mouse it is hard to have more then one unless you have a System with a ESata port on the back then you could put on Esata or usb in options...
Sadly I don't know how to make it any other then DAV from the NVR I know that you can DL a Player off Amcrest that if I remember right will let you change it over to AVI
