I would like to use two different presets with my camera without having to log into the camera each time.
I’ve heard it possible but haven’t found much this far to support what I’ve heard.
I was curious if anyone in the forum had any experience with this or some ideas on how to handle my situation.
RTSP PTZ Preset Options
Re: RTSP PTZ Preset Options
Use your phone with Amcrest View Pro app to go to different camera presets. The app will auto log in the camera.
Re: RTSP PTZ Preset Options
Another thing you could do is set up a tour in your camera with two presets and the time duration each should display. Click start and the presets should continue displaying until you click stop.
Or set up the presets in PTZ Time Task where you can have the presets change according to a schedule. That's only available in certain cameras like PTZ SpeedDomes.

Re: RTSP PTZ Preset Options
@jack7 thanks for the ideas. I do have the app on my phone which works fine. I also appreciate the thoughts on using the tour function. However our stream isn't timed so it would be hard to put that to a schedule. My hope was to setup OBS with two media sources using RTSP. One would be for preset 1, and the other preset 2.
Doing it this way would cut it down to one app and would be easier for others who end up running the stream.

I am VERY interested in using this camera in OBS, so I would be delighted to know how things are going for you, particularly regarding handling the PTZ functions inside OBS!
Thanks in advance
