RFE: Need onscreen incremental positioning controls (not just swiping)

I find swiping on the smartphone's screen in the Amcrest app is far too coarse and erratic to position the wifi camera. I cannot swipe a little distance from the edge of the display as that doesn't register a swipe action. I have to do a large swipe to get the app to recognize a swipe action. This makes it very difficult to get the camera positioned just where I want. I swipe, too much movement, I swipe back, too little this time, swipe back again, too much movement, and I have to repeatedly swipe trying to get the camera to point just where I want. I'm supposed to be able to swipe into the corners of the display. That is very unreliable. Sometimes the swipe to corner is registered, sometimes not. There is also the problem with lag over the network (via wifi and especially over the Internet) that I will swipe to move, see nothing happen, swipe again, and then 2 swipes happen so the camera moved too much. I tire of having to repeatedly swipe, nothing happen, or too much movement.

At the top, bottom, sides, and corners add tap sensitive areas. A tap at those spots should move the camera by its smallest increment. An option could show those tap spots but also make them invisible to as to not interfere with seeing that area in the camera's display.

Foscam/Amcrest puts their own sticker on someone else's product; i.e., someone else makes it, Foscam puts their sticker on it. So I'm not sure that Foscam/Amcrest has any control over the development of the software that comes with their branded hardware.
