When trying to scan the QR code label on the unit, there will not always be sufficient light. Not everyone will be in a super-bright room, be next to a table lamp, or have another person available to point a flashlight at the sticker on the camera. The result is that the QR sticker could be way too dark to pick up so the reader can capture it.
Add a button on your app's QR reader screen to turn on the phone's light. The user will get to this screen, realize there is not enough light, have to tap the Home button and find the "flashlight" app to turn on the smartphone's camera light, and then use the Recent button to come back to Amcrest's app to finally have enough light for it to see the QR sticker. Would be so much easier if there were a flashlight button on the app's own QR reader screen.
