Returning 1190W I just can't deal

Post by Revo2Maxx »

All the issue this camera has I just can't deal with it. I mean if it was less $$ then I would keep it just for better able to help with Support of the Product. Issue is I can't deal with it and all the issues.

I reset the camera and it has issues. I reset it again has issues I reset it and no issues for a short amount of time. I have to many other things to chase.. Today all I did was tried to put in a different Text in the Custom Overlay area for the OSD seeing it is an option and I want to make sure I can help if others are trying to use it. After entering Revo2Maxx and trying to Enable it the camera crashed and after it reboots I log in and it crashes lol.

Now the IVS rules are broke again lol. I turned them on, I set them up and after it worked a few times * only know because I have setup the white leds to flash. Anyway after a crash the IVS is gone (No Rules) however the line is still there if I use IE. However when I go to IVS lets say to turn off Email or change Light flash time or even turn off light flash IVS rules are gone.. No way to make that change..

Also a few things about this Camera so others know.

First when it starts up after Reset or even for first time, It is setup at h.264 even though it has option for h.265.
Second, ONVIF is Disabled meaning any Password or user name will work for the device (none of my others start up Disabled) For DVR/NVR log ins...
Third. Remove Ice and Fog is enabled in the cameras setup by default Even if you do Disable it or turn it off the Temps never go down so either the PCB in the camera body is running really hot, or there is Over Current issues with the Inductor, or resistor is taking that and turning it to heat either way my camera might be turning off because it is over heating seeing it is 158F even though my room that I have it in (Took it down and have in my room trying to see if it will work better) is AC and Fanned.

So I did return it and that was seamless. However kind of upset me that they asked how I wanted the Funds returned and I said normal payment method however for what ever reason they put it on a Giftcard. Personally not cool with that so I thought Ok I guess just buy the ASH47. Don't like the idea that it is a smart home device. However it does offer some specs that are above the 1190W. Like it says it is IP66 where the 1190W says it is only IP55. Also looks like it might have been built a little better. Don't like that it don't have a WebUI but as long as it does what I expect it to do and things work even 50% better then the 1190W then I will be happy to keep it even if not perfect with hope it can get better with time.

Maybe It will be better then expected like when I bought the ASH26. Wasn't sure about it at first and when I got it I was like Very nice and Amcrest Quality that I have come to expect..

15th is the day they say I will get it.
