Is a NVR required for remote viewing of a camera? I watched the Amcrest videos on YouTube and they all start by plugging in a NVR.

Hello cwalins,

NVR is not necessary for remote viewing IP camera. it just needs to be connected to your network wired or wireless and you can set up the camera on your phone app. Please check the video tutorial below.
