remote setup

Post by peglomaniac »

I have 4 1080P cameras set up and working fine in a quiet building I own.

I live in a city 2 hours away from the building I have my cameras in, and I go south for the winter, so am 24 hours away then.

I have configured my cameras on-site and set up the schedule for motion detection, which works the way I want it to, but now have construction workers in the otherwise very quiet hallways.

Of course I am getting hundreds of photos in my email because of the constant activity in the hallways. How can I adjust the schedule remotely? The construction workers will be there for a couple of weeks.

I am on a Mac, and I also use the Amcrest View app on my iPhone.

Is there a way to adjust the schedule of my motion detection remotely?

Hello peglomaniac,

The best way to control this is by accessing the camera interface remotely by setting up port forwarding. For setting up port forwarding, you need to be at the location of the cameras. Please contact us by phone if you need any help with the set up.
