Remote Play is Choppy on NV2116

I have a newly installed 16 channel NV2116 running with 6 IP2M-844E cameras and 2 IPM-721S. Live remote streaming is fine, however I am having issues with playback either internal on my network or remote. When attempting to playback recorded video, it is always skipping the seconds and otter slow. I never had this issue on my previous 8 channel Amcrest NVR, however as soon as I upgraded to the NV2116, I’m noticed this problem. It’s definitely not my bandwidth because I’m on 150/150. It’s not my mobile because I’m on full LTE and I receive the same results when playing back via WiFi remotely as well. What is causing this issue? It seems like a problem on the NVR. I looked and I don’t even see any firmware for the NV2116. Why would this work perfectly fine on my previous 8 channel Amcrest NVR but not on the NV2116? Also, I’ve rma the NV2116 thinking it was faulty for a new one, and the problem continues. Anyone else experiencing these issues? One other thing to add, I’m using a Seagate Skyhawk 4TB HD.

I am having the same issue with the latest firmware on all of my NVRs. This is a big problem but Amcrest doesn't seem to have an ETA for a fix.

Thx for the reply WilliamA. I wish Amcrest would acknowledge this and work towards a resolution. Every time I call them for support, they feel the need to walk me thru basic stuff, yet as a systems engineer, I’d rather see real results that work, not “just enable this and it should work” when it’s really not the solution. Hopefully Amcrest will address this major issue ASAP.
