Remote IP3M-956E x NVR NV2108

Post by Hermann »

I have a Amcrest IP3M-956E on a remote location, and a NVR NV2108 in my local network.

I can access this camera using any software (Blue Iris on desktop, LiveCam PRO on iOS and tinyCam PRO on Android), but I can't make it work on an Amcrest NVR NV2108 (again, they are not in the same network).

What I should do? Which port should I use and forward? PLEASE NOTE AGAIN that I can access this camera easily using ANYTHING but the Amcrest NVR...

I'm forwarding the router port 42999 to local 554 (RTSP), and this setting is working for BlueIris and the APPs, but not for the NVR.

I tried to forward it to 37777, but it also didn't work.

Which ports should I forward to allow the NVR to access/record my camera?

The password is a plain vanilla one, no special characters, not too fancy because NV2108 is very dumb and can't handle special characters (no ~!@#$%^& or anything like it).

Thanks in advance.

Hello Hermann,

You need to forward port 37777 which is the TCP port and add the device as private. Make sure the TCP port on the camera is 37777. If you have multiple cameras you will need to change this port and forward it.
