Why can't I do Start recoding at 1800 and end at 0700? It just says invalid time. I don't need to record during the day. Preferably between 6pm and 7am.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I think that what you need to do is set 2 x periods - 18:00:00 to 23:59:59 and secondly 00:00:01 to 07:00:00 and then enable both periods on the relevant days. So on my system it would look like this:-

p.s. - except it should of course be 00:00:00 but you get the idea

Agreed....that's what I had to do also.
