Hi - I would like to have my NVR record all the time and also mark in the timeline when there is motion. I've tried two ways in the schedule record, but neither seems to work.
First, I set the record and the motion boxes on a single time schedule. Then I tried with record on one schedule and motion on the other. Either way, I get 24/7 recording, but there aren't any markers in playback to indicate where there's motion.
For each camera, I enabled motion detect. Should the boxes by black or red in the mask setting?
Thank you

Hello tb-amcrest,
In the record schedule you should enable motion recording for all the time. Also under Event > Video detect, ensure that you have enabled detection and the record is enabled for each channel. This way you should have full time recordings plus motion detection and it will shown in yellow shade in the play back window.
