Record Schedule not saving

Post by francoisk »

Brand new camera IP3M-943B. Works fine. Except it records non-stop, adding files to the NAS every 1/2 hour.
Connecting to the camera, I go to Setup-->Storage-->Schedule and deselect "General" (green).
(see screen shot attached).
Then I click Save. It says "Save Successful".
Logout, log back in, the General is back on!
Is there a fix to that bug? Quite annoying as it is filling up my drive.

Hello francoisk,

Please try clicking on the 'reset defaults' option below the schedule and try again. If this doe not fix the issue, you may have to try and hard reset the camera. The reset button in underneath the camera when you open the two screws on the bottom. Press and old it for 20 seconds,

francoisk--what I'm about to say could be considered apples and oranges (I'm using a different camera), but I noticed in your screenshot that even though the checkbox for General is marked, there is no Green bar displayed that would indicate that a recording schedule for General events has been set...yet oddly enough your camera is still recording continuously. I mention this because in my setup I too have the box for General checked, but I did not enable/set a recording schedule for General--hence in my setup there is no Green bar present, just the yellow bar for Motion which I do want; however, unlike your situation my camera does not continuously record but instead, records only when triggered.
