I am currently facing a problem with the IP2M-841 camera when the wifi is shut down and turned on again the camera does not automatically connect to the wifi router unless I unplug/replug the power.
Is there any configuration that I can change so that the camera will reconnect to the wifi router once its turned back on?
Thanks

Hello uyraffy ,
It should automatically connect in such situations. Only thing in the settings is to ensure that you have set up a static ip for the camera for the wireless adapter.

Can you show me how to do this? Or point me to the users manual page on how to do this?
But I am still wondering why will the camera connect to the wifi router if I unplug the camera from the power but not if the wifi router is shut off and turned back on.
Does this mean the only time it will try to connect to the wifi router is when it is first turned on?
Thanks,

Hello uyraffy ,
It should automatically connect back to the wifi even if the router is power recycled. But if it does not connect, the only option is to power off the camera and power it back on.
To set static IP. you need to login to the camera web interface from PC, go to Setup>Network>TCP IP > Choose the wireless adapter from drop down and check the 'static' option and save it.

Hello. I have asked this in numerous posts. WHAT IS THIS? What software is this that lets me do this. Please provide link. The only software i am aware of are the android phone and tablet apps for remotely viewing. I would like a link for software that would allow me to make changes to the cameras configuration as mentioned above please.
