Real Time Trigger Level Monitor

Post by madmacks »

Trying to adjust the sensitivity and threshold values on several cameras. Is there a way to monitor what the camera is seeing in terms of the sensitivity and threshold values in real time so I can try and adjustable them appropriately? If not, it would sure be a GREAT capability to add to the software.

Yes if you had software that has it working in it. If not then no.

For Chrome, and most modern browsers the answer is no. However if you use IE then yes you can see. I even tried with ASP and looking at the Detection area for the camera in ASP it don't work. So take for instance a 841 that with 2020 FW it no longer will work with IE and or IE mode in Edge because for the 841 IE is no longer supported then no access to that data for setting up

However looking at an older FW camera on my front porch that I can still work with in IE, You can see in the area of the right on the Motion Detection area under Events that it will show data from movement. Looking at the Picture Below there was 2 Vehicles that went by I wasn't fast enough to get the Grid display but it moves area of detection in the grid and shows the lines on the right. This feature is no longer on any of my Cameras that use Chrome or Edge in any of my cameras from Any company.
