I have numerous ASH43 and ASH47 wifi cameras.
For reasons I cannot determine, they seem to randomly stop recording motion events. Sometimes they record, sometimes they don't. The SD cards are Class 10 Sandisk 64 GB cards.
This is extremely annoying when, for example, a vehicle pulls up to my gate and there is no recording of it.
It's not just one of them. Several if not most of them do this. They just randomly fail to record motion events.
For example, the ASH47 at my North Gate last recorded an event at 3:34 today. Nothing since. Yet several vehicles have passed within the trigger zones I've set up. Tomorrow it will probably start recording again without me doing anything.
Why do these cameras do this?
Random failure to record to SD card
Re: Random failure to record to SD card
Hi,
Can no one assist with this issue?

Re: Random failure to record to SD card
If this is a firmware issue then many should be having the same issue.
This pushes me to think I need a cloud storage account since it fails to record to the internal SD card.

Can ANYONE even see this thread or is it blocked from view ?
Re: Random failure to record to SD card
Not sure why you have issues. My camears are being recorded to NVR and Bi for my ASH47 and I use ethernet connection for it so not sure.. About being seen yes your messages are being posted and others can see them. Just no one has a good answer for the issue I guess. Maybe make a Ticket for Support..
Be Safe.

Good idea. I'll try to submit a ticket.
Thanks
Re: Random failure to record to SD card
Still having this issue on multiple Amcrest cameras.
In total disbelief that no one else is having this issue. How is that even possible?
I'm using Sandisk Class10 cards (new)
They will record motion just fine then randomly, no recordings for a random length of time (minutes, hours or even days) then just as mysteriously, it starts recording again. I can view the cameras, but no motion events recorded. Maybe I should just put them all on continuous recording but then finding motion events is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
