push notifications

I'm not getting any sound for a push notification on my iphone4 all switches are set for me to get a sound notification and I have also deleted and reinstalled the app. I get a message for the notification but no sound. so, If I'm not looking at my phone there is no way for me to be aware of the notification. I purchased this camera for security reasons, so without an audio notification it defeats the purpose of me relying on the camera
can anyone help me with this problem?

Sounds like you already checked this, but check Settings > Notifications > Amcrest View and make sure the Sounds toggle is checked. Do you get sounds for ANY notifications? Try rebooting your phone.

I have rebooting the phone and I have all the toggles set. still no sound on notifications

+ 1, same problem on iPhone 6 iOS 9.3.2 and Amcrest View 3.4.0048.
I receive the alert without an sound.

Sounds works fine for notification of other apps.
In the iOS notification settings, Sounds is toggled on for Amcrest app (see attached screenshot).

This is a serious problem, as the notification may be useless without a sound alert.

I think it's a bug. Is Amcrest aware of it and working on a fix?

Yes our developers are working on this issue. We are hoping to release a fix at the earliest.

I have the same issue. iPhone 7 Plus running ios 10.0.2. No sound for notifications. Contacted support and got a response days later that this was fixed in a recent update. This is 10/20/2016 and the last update on this app was 9/20/2016 so I'm not sure what recent update they may be talking about but it does not work. Responded to support letting them know I have the newest release and no response again......

Any update on this, Amcrest? It's a bit useless without some kind of audible notification or at least a vibration.
