Post by JamesM42 »

I have downloaded the latest version of Surveillance pro and set up my cameras but having a problem with adding the channels to the PC-NVR. I followed the instructions and got the PC-NVR setup and online.

The pictures show better what I am talking about. How do I fix this problem?

Hi JamesM42,
You have added cameras using serial number, In order to record on PC NVR cameras should be added using local IP address. Please remove the cameras from Devices menu and add it back using IP address after that you will be able to add the cameras in PC NVR.

Thanks, I just figured that out, but now I have to figure out the IP address of the one camera that is offsite that is set to p2p. If anyone has any ideas on how to find the IP address of the p2p camera that would be a big help.

As the solution suggested here - adding devices by their ip+port and not by using p2p;
Is a remote camera or nvr which placed remotly, but connected via a private vpn, is considered as a local network element?
