I own the IP2M-841B cam and purchased the Blue Iris software. Basic camera operation was set up yesterday - that is, I can get live views and record on my Android phone and Ipad. However, I ultimately would like to set up a schedule to record during regular M-F workday hours when I'm gone to the hard drive on my W10 PC. I'm new to all this but believe this is where the Blue Iris software comes in.
Accordingly, my initial question here would be: Since I have (and will install) Blue Iris, do I need to download the proprietary Amcrest Pro viewer to my PC at all or is it completely supplanted by the Blue Iris software? Obviously I'm a little fuzzy on the basics.
Thank you kindly - Mike

Blue Iris will do everything you need, don't need the Amcrest viewer
