Hi, is there a way upon the IP4M-1026E to prohibit infrared motion captures?

As you can see it appears to trigger too readily with rain!
Camera, Configuration, Night Vision, Mode, Off ?
Prevent infrared motion video
Re: Prevent infrared motion video
I certainly find the same thing is a problem together with moths and spiders with my NVR and I came to the conclusion that you have to just live with it. I think it is caused by the way that things close to the camera reflect the IR illumination coming from the camera.
My two AMCREST cameras are behind windows so I have the IR lighting switched off to prevent glare back. They use the IR lighting provided by the outside cameras attached to my NVR and don't cause the same problem so I would guess that separate IR lighting well away from the cameras with the camera lights off might improve things for you - no guarantees though
