This seems to be an issue across multiple camera models.

I am experiencing the exact same issue as this:

Except my hardware is
IP8M-2597E
IP8M-2493E

There doesn't seem to be a way to specify access permissions for ONVIF user. It only seems to use the admin account. Even if you create an additional user and give it full admin, any software you use to attempt to connect will report a bad username/password.

Getting the same issue. Just upgraded and checked with the latest firmware version too: Amcrest_IPC-Consumer-Web-Mao-Molec_Eng_N_AMCREST_V2.800.00AC001.0.R.210331

you'll need to use the ODM tool to create ONVIF users, you cannot use the UI in some models: https://github.com/blakeblackshear/frig ... 5375947423
