NVR nv4108e - how to change channel number

I previously had a camera assigned to channel 2, which has been deleted. I added 4 new IP cameras via POE. The nvr assigned them to channels 1,3,4,5. How do I change 5 to 2? Set up this way, I can't see the 4 cameras on one screen. I tried to delete the camera on 5 and manually reassign it, but the nvr adds it back too fast.

Any response from Amcrest on this? Whenever I go to the chanel name screen and make an edit, they always revert to whatever they want to be.
How is the channel numbers assigned?

Hello mbster ,

Please try resetting the settings to factory defaults under settings > System > restore factory defaults. Then add the cameras again.
