I have a new Amcrest 1104E NVR and a couple of Amcrest cameras (1025eb, 956eb). Neither camera will display on the monitor connected to the NVR. The NVR also will not access or save configuration changes to the cameras. However if I use the web interface to the NVR, I can see both camera feeds, access the playback and update configurations (like the display name, resolution, etc). The 4 camera feed display shows black. The two tiles with cameras have a record icon and what I believe to be the POE icon (ethernet jack with a lightning bolt). The playback section on the NVR interface shows the time slots for the recordings but shows blank when you play them.

I have one update to add. I have a third camera that I hadn't setup yet. When I added it, it does show up. So I have two blank feeds and one that works correctly. The camera is Amcrest 842eb.

The cameras you have are 3MP and 4MP and the NV1104E NVR cannot handle such high resolution cameras. You can try lowering the resolution to 720P on all cameras and see if that works. If you need to add multiple high resolution cameras, NV4108E is the one you can go with. Again that is limited to 4 x 4MP cameras for live view and play back.
