I have two WiFi Cameras connected and i can see them on the mobile application. I can see them connected to my router on Wifi. Had issues first with Wifi frequency, but added account to stay at 2.4Ghz and thet fixed the issues with the mobile application. Now trying to get the to connect to the NVR (NV4108-HS) I tried a milion things and cant get it.
One thing i notice is that the wired IPs start with 192.16x.x.xxx and the wifi IPs start 127.xx.x.xx nothing like that ever shows up on the list.
Also using Amcrest DVR when i try to add camera manually, there is no option for Amcrest cameras, so cannot really search for them. IP search does not see them either.
ANy help would be appreciated. I have managed to get some PC recording software to work, but would rather use the NVR since i have it.
Thanks
Sorry if this has already been asked. I did look for it, but too many different answers that were not what i was looking for.
NVR does not see WIFI cameras IP address
Re: NVR does not see WIFI cameras IP address
Hello milo001 ,
For the NVR to detect the cameras, they should be in the same ip subnet. The NVR should be connected to the same router.
Sometimes changing the ip address of the NVR to another one in the same subnet has helped. Please give it a try as well. And if its convenient give us a call on 1-888-212-7538.

Re: NVR does not see WIFI cameras IP address
Melvin,
Thanks for the replay. you are correct. i stopped the 5Ghz wifi and reset the cameras to get new addresses using the 192.xx.x.xx pool of IP addresses, and was able to get everything going.
Thanks for your help
