Hi,
Cannot see video from the NVR.
Hardware setup:
1. IP3M-954EB camera, connected to the NVR using Ethernet cable.
2. NV1104E NVR, connected to router using Ethernet cable. Seagate 2TB HDD installed.
3. Apple Airport Extreme router.
4. Samsung LED TV as monitor, connected to the NVR using HDMI cable.
All cables are tested and OK.
Problem description:
1. NVR works fine with the TV, user interface is running ok.
2. NVR IP is detected - 10.0.0.47. IP mode is IP4.
3. Camera IP is detected - 10.1.1.128. Camera is in the Added devices section. Status dot on screen is green.
3. No video on the screen - only black rectangle, depending on the channel I connect the camera to.
4. In the dark, the IR LEDS on camera are on, and a red dot appears in the left lower corner of the black rectangle on screen.
5. When there is a motion in a camera field of view a blue "walking man" sign appears in the same black rectangle, but still no video.
What I tried to do:
1. Connected the camera to the router and external 12v source.
2. Used IP config tool on my pc to find the camera.
3. I could access it only when ip6 is chosen on the ip config tool. Video is ok. Trying to access it when ip4 is chosen failed.
4. I tried to change ip6 to ip4, without success.
5. Updated the camera and the NVR firmware.
6. Changed the ip and a gateway of the camera so it will be in my ip range - 10.0.0.140.
7. Connected back to the NVR. No change, like I did nothing, even the detected camera ip is 10.1.1.128.
8. Tried to change the ip4 mode of transportation NVR to ip6, hoping it will detect the camera like pc did. Didn't help.
NVR/Camera connection problem
Problem solved
Camera is 3Mp, NVR is 1080p. Changed the resolution of camera and everything is fine.

Re: NVR/Camera connection problem
I think you cannot change the NVR IP address of the camera. Like in my case, it always starts at 10.1.1.128, then 10.1.1.129 and so on and so forth depending on how many cameras you hook up to it. It is an NVR-assigned IP address -- only the NVR has control over it.
BTW, at what resolution did you set the camera that you finally saw the video?
