NV4108E and Samsung POE Cameras

I just purchased the nv4108e to replace my dead Samsung sde-4001. I want to use the Samsung cams (sbe1005R) that are already mounted/run throughout the house. Will these work with this NVR? I connected them to back of my 4108E, but no joy. I believe this is because the Samsung dvr itself provided power for each camera since I had a separate power supply labeled camera power. Do I need a POE injector or POE switch. I really like this NVR, and don't want to buy more cameras.

Hello 4Chris,

Unfortunately the other brand camera is not compatible with our NVR. So we cannot guarantee that they will work even if you get a POE switch.

Wonderful. Even though the description/notes I read stated that Samsung cameras were supported. I will be returning the NV4108E for refund now.
