Nv1104

Post by Maritime »

I have an NV1104 and one 943b, connected by wifi on a 40 meg centurylink fiber optical (to the house, then cat 5) system. Every day, now, I must setup the camera anew (it drops off line) and it appears on a new IP.

The NVR is useless for security if I can get more than 24 or fewer hours recorded.

Please help.

Hello Maritime,

Please login to the camera web interface from a PC and ensure that it has a static Ip address for the wireless adapter. This will ensure that the camera ip does not change frequently.

Hello Maritime,

Please login to the camera web interface from a PC and go to setup > Network > Tcpip , form there select the wifi adapter and check the option static and save.

"Wireless" is the only option, not adapter, so I selected that-thanks, I'll see what happens.
