I am using a NV1104 recorder. I would like to record 24/7 but also get the recorder to mark motion detection times. At the present time I can only record 24/7 or record briefly motion detection. Is there are way to get the NV1104 to record full time (green time line) and mark the time line with motion detection (yellow time line items).

Yes this is possible. Under settings > Storage > Schedule, you need to ensure that schedule is set for motion detection and General recording. General recording will be represented in green and motion recording in yellow in the schedule. Also under settings > Event, you should have motion enabled for each channel and 'Record channel' option checked.
