NTP Issue
NTP Issue
When I originally set up my NVR (720P HDCVI model) about a year ago, I didn't bother enabling NTP, but now the time is about 10 minutes out of whack. So I went in and turned NTP on using the default settings (time.windows.com, port 123) and clicked the Manual Update button to try and set the correct time immediately. But when I did, I got "Update Failed". So I did a bit of digging and tried a few other NTP servers (e.g. us.pool.ntp.org), but I kept getting the same "Update Failed" error. I even went so far as to set up Port Forwarding in my router to send port 123 to the IP of my NVR, but that had no effect (not to mention that my Windows machine is set up to use time.windows.com and it works just fine). I have no idea what else to try. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello psuwayne,
If you are able to access the web interface of the DVR from a PC, you can go to settings > System > General and sync the time with PC time.
