Hello all, So I have my system setup to record on my DVR and NVR and the ones that I feel are important I try to make sure I have enough backup footage that I am covered if ever needed.. Today the issue is working with my 850EB it was working on a 64gb MSD and wanted to move the camera from its location to a different one that will get more motion so I thought I would install the Max MSD I could so Installed a WD Purple 128gb.. If you have a 850EB then you know access to the MSD while can be easy to get to the board it isn't easy to install or remove the MSD.. So taking it in and out isn't fun.. So it installed and has been formatted and shows it should be working however now the files are no longer being saved and the NVR is acting like there is a MSD error and is on a Constant Recording even though I have it setup for Motion.. I have Rebooted the Camera as well.
Looking for any one that has had some issues like this and what was the cure.. To be honest the 64gb card while is an older card it still was working without an issue so if I have to size down I can still do that.. Both cards are a Western Digital Purple card so I know it isn't the brand being used..
So after setting the record for Full time recording it has recorded without an issue. So I will just keep an eye on things and see what is going on. Also found that the Icon on the NVR was caused by me changing all my Sub Streams from off to Manual and isn't recording unless instructed so things are working as expected or I guess better then expected seeing it isn't picking up birds or things outside the zone like the camera I replaced with this one..
If your recording to memory card, the card possibly failed. In device manager delete the device and re add it. . If nothing works a hard reset. If its a dome camera , remove the dome and press and hold the reset button for 45 seconds. Set the camera up as new .

Sadly not really sure what the issue is outside of not picking up all things like the other camera did.. Camera is fine and the MSD card was new 128gb WD Purple and it is also fine. Just me expecting everything that had caused my other camera to go off and record. This camera is better suited to the area only down side is the less zoom. 37x to 20x is big loss in clear close up picture but then again this one is 2mp not 960h.. Some things like about the 850eb however there are some things that I liked about my normal PTZ camera I had there sadly the motor went out or the belt has gone bad over the last winter I have back up of both so it won't be long to get it back in service once I get it on my bench for repair.. Just have loads of other things that need to get done no time for Camera Repairs right now..
