Non-Amcrest Brand PTZ Camera
Non-Amcrest Brand PTZ Camera
Question for everyone. I have a non-amcrest branded PTZ camera that I cannot get the Amcrest NVR to control. I get video, and even sound. But I cannot control (make the camera move) using amcrest app or the nvr. I can control it using the app it came with, and even using the WebUi, just not the Amcrest NVR or APP. Anyone have any suggestions?
Re: Non-Amcrest Brand PTZ Camera
Hello and Welcome to the Forum..
I have 2 older Amcrest 20x zoom PTZ cameras that can't be controlled by a couple of my NVRs like the 5216E-16P to name one of them. Not much you can do. Most of my lower grade nvrs like 41xx, 21xx all work fine..

Re: Non-Amcrest Brand PTZ Camera
I am in the same situation with a Hikvision PTZ that I repaired. What I am going to do is get a mini computer and load ivms2000 (Hikvision's pc software) on it and connect it to the camera switch side of the Amcrest NVR and connect a USB joystick to the mini computer.BigN879 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 9:35 am Question for everyone.
