No playback audio using amcrestview.com

I have a ProHD IP2M-841B. I am not getting any playback audio when using amcrestview.com web access. Playback video works fine. Live View audio and video also works fine from amcrestview.com.

I also get both Live View and playback audio and video on the Amcrest View Pro Android app, so I know its recording both OK. Only the amcrestview.com web portal playback audio is missing. Any suggestions?

It looks like some issue with the plugin. Could you try on a different browser and see if that makes any difference?

I have been using IE 11 and Windows 10. Unfortunately I have not be able to get the plugin to work on either Firefox or Microsoft Edge browsers.

Update: I was able to get amcrestview.com running on both IE 11 and Firefox. However, playback audio is still not there with either browser. Live view audio is fine. Android and iPhone App also have OK audio on playback.

I got the amcrestview.com plugin working on both IE 11 and Firefox. But no playback audio on either one. Live view audio works OK on both. Also playback audio works on Android and iPhone apps. Any other suggestions?

Hello TMKENG ,

The other option is to access the cameras web interface directly by typing its ip address on a web browser. You should have audio using this method. But if you want to set up remote access for this, you will have to set up port forwarding. Please give us a call in if you need any help with that.
