I have a IP2M-841.
I am successfully getting motion detection push notifications to my phone.
I set up the SMTP parameters, and I can successfully send and receive a TEST email.
I've enabled "Send email" on Motion Detect, but I am not getting any emails. I do continue to get the Push Notifications.
Any suggestions on how to get this working?
No Email on detection event
Re: No Email on detection event
Hello amtrying ,
Please make sure that the snapshot option under smtp settings is checked. Also check the 'attachment' under set up > event > video detect.

Re: No Email on detection event
Hi there,
Please make sure you have the below settings in place.
1. Setup > Event > Video Detection > Motion Detect > Enabled
a. Schedule > All Green
b. Detection Area > All selected (Orange color is default); Sensitivity: 80; Threshold: 1 or 2
c. Send Email and Snapshot is enabled
2. Setup > Storage > Snapshot Schedule
a. Schedule > All Yellow (for motion detection)
If you are still not getting email with snapshots when there is a motion in front of it, go to Setup > Information > Log and check if you are getting 'event begin' and event 'end in log'. The log should show this if the camera is detecting motion.
