So, I've just installed two new 1026E cams to my NV4432E system. I notice constant minor 'focusing' or pulsing on the images on both cameras while viewing from the iOS Amcrest Viewer Pro. Day or night. I noticed it at night first, but now looking at the images in daylight I still see minor, but constant, image issues. I thought at first that it might be the IR lights, but I notice the same pulsing effect now in daylight. Only on the two new 1026 cameras. Original installed cameras don't experience this problem.
Anyone else having this issues?

Re: New IP4M-1026E issue
Following up. After a few reboots of the NVR this problem seems to have settled down. I do not notice the pulsing issue I was seeing with this new installation.

Re: New IP4M-1026E issue
I have 4 Amcrest IP cams. 2 Wi-Fi and 2 4MP outdoor POEs. They all do this image clarity "pulsing" every 3 seconds and is very annoying. This is unrelated to NVR as I'm accessing them direct through browsers and iOS apps (multiple). It's present in all viewing and is coming from the cameras. Amcrest needs to fix this quality issue. It's almost like the cams are trying to refocus every 3 seconds. Is very slight, but constant no matter what.

Hello simtimpson ,
We do apologize for the inconvenience. Could you please em ail us snapshots of the issue to support@amcrest.com so that we can send it our R&D?

Re: New IP4M-1026E issue
I have three IP4M-1025e cameras doing the same thing. I think. Please let me know if it is not the same
I can almost emulate the look of the (refocus?) pulse by changing the BLC mode, WDR, and move the slider. Picture gets bit fuzzy and then comes back. But mine is pulsing as well. Looking at it zoomed in its like a glitch.
I’ve tried recording it but I’m still a newbie and blue iris and from Amcrest NVR
I uploaded this video to youtube. even with low youtube resolution I can see the pulse on static items. i've tried WDR, BLC, HLC, this is in HLC mode. hope it helps.

Re: New IP4M-1026E issue
I have two IP4M-1026Es and one IP4M-1025E, and all three of them pulse as described above.
I also have three IP3M-954Es and one IP2M-851E and they do not pulse.

Re: New IP4M-1026E issue
Amcrest, this issue has been ongoing for almost 3 months. It is also an issue with my IP4M-1026W. Same thing, the image appears to be trying to refocus about every 3 seconds. You can't say you can't replicate it so what is the resolution to this issue? The only reply I see is to send snapshots of the problem. If anyone actually reads these posts you'd realize the problem is not something that would be readily observable in a snapshot but definitely in a video, which have been posted. How about a useful reply?

You can try setting bit rate type to CBR
Then incrementally increase the bitrate and frame interval to find the sweet spot you are looking for. it should help with the pulse issue as you increase both numbers
keep in mind as these two numbers go up so does the load on your network/wifi as does your storage requirements.
You can lower FPS to help compensate for the additional load the bitrate and frame interval put on your system.
Also if you use blue iris it is also important to match the settings you set in the camera to config in BI.
~~
Setting my 4mp cameras to the max for bit rate and frame interval, made the pulsing almost entirely go away.
I have wired cams with a solid network and beefy storage. I also lowered my fps to 20. I only have a few cameras too so I can get away with max settings.

Re: New IP4M-1026E issue
I have several IP4M-1026E and they are all experiencing the pulsing at night. I have not noticed it during the day.
Re: New IP4M-1026E issue
Skippy, it is more noticeable at night but the pulsing is there all the time.
