I have the Eco HDCVI 16 channel DVR system with 10 cameras connected. I want to record full time on three of the cameras and motion only on the other 7. I thought that's how I had it set up, but it appears that all cameras are recording full time. I have full 24 hour playbacks on all cameras and all of the playback colors are green. I'm chewing up hard drive space quickly as I have only been up for about a week and the 2TB drive is almost full. The user manual doesn't provide a lot of help so I was hoping that someone could give me some instruction on how to properly set this up.
Thanx in advance.

Re: Motion Recording
Hello JohnP ,
For full time recording, go to settings > Storage > Schedule > Record and select the channel number. Select 'General' for full time recording. Select 'MD' for motion detection recording. Once you set the schedule motion would be indicated in yellow shade and general recording in green.
For motion record to work you also need to enable motion detection under settings > Event > Detect > Motion detect. Make sure that the schedule for motion is set for each channel you want here.

Thank you for your response. Your description is how I have made the settings in my DVR, however all channels are still recording full time. What did I miss?
Re: Motion Recording
Hello JohnP ,
Go to settings > Storage > Record and make sure the record type is set to 'Schedule' for all channels. If this is on 'manual', please change it to "schedule' and see if it works.

Hey Melvin...
Your last suggestion hit the nail on the head. All cameras are now functioning like I want them to. Thank you very much for your assistance.
