Motion Detection Recording

I know that when motion is detected, video and images are saved on the SD Card in the camera, but I am wondering if they are also saved on the path I chose for my hard drive on my PC? I guess it would be pointless to have a camera that could just be taken if the storage is only on the SD card in that camera. I have looked at the folder where I directed it to store videos and photos, but nothing is there. I wonder if I am missing a step to get it to automatically go to my PC?

Hello dw_22801,

To record videos to computer (Windows), you can use the Amcrest Surveillance Pro software and enable the PC-NVR option. It does not work with the web interface of the camera.
