Motion Detection: Number of snapshots per email

This is rubbish!! I have spend a weekend trying to get my new IP2M-841 to send me more that one picture, surly this is fundamental just in case someone steels the camera in the process of steeling other things from your house!!! Camera is going back to in the morning and will NEVER buy an Armcrest again!!

It's mid-July and this is still a problem. IPM-721 running the latest V2.420.AC00.18.R firmware from 5/21/17.

I see the same screen Raheel sees, I'm able to receive motion detection emails with a single snapshot. How in the world do I get it to send me 3 or 5 in the same email????

Come on, Amcrest. Provide some support!

They've been "proactively working" on this for over a year. Like everything else Amcrest is "proactively working on," don't hold your breath.

I'll also add that this issue illustrates one of Amcrest's core faults. At no point did a member of their dev team, their QA team, or their leadership team say, "What? We're sending each snapshot in an individual email? That's ridiculous and we can't do that." I spent 25 years doing software development. A flaw like that should have been identified as unacceptable the minute it appeared in a requirements document. And to add insult to injury, they've left if that way for well over a year. I like Amcrest's hardware. I'm appalled at their software practices. Or lack thereof.

You mean to tell me 741 emails with a single attachment on each in 20 days is not ideal? And that's with MD zones, thresholds/sensitivities, and a 100 second (max) anti-dither set up.

I work in the WWW industry, so like you, I'm familiar with MVPs and KPIs. I'm sure the Amcrest team is hard at work on something, it's just unfortunate that seemingly little bugs like this one don't get any attention or priority.

When I reset my camera I was only getting 1 pic per email. I changed interval under email to 0 and I am now getting 5 pics.

Melvin, who can I call to get an update on this? This is obviously not a priority (or even a concern) for Amcrest and I want to replace the cameras if a fix isn't imminent. Can you give me the phone number or email address for Adam Ravat?

So I think I figured it out on my end.

If I set the Interval to 0, it seems to send the correct amount of snapshots I selected. If I change the interval to anything else, it will only send one snapshot per email.

Pretty bad situation really. You either get a TON of emails or not enough.
