Hello all.
Right now I have my DVR set to 24 hour recording. What I would like it to do is record 24 hours a day but somehow leave an alert so when motion is detected it makes a mark on the camera playback timeline, thus making it easier to search for events when I need to. I suppose I could set it to motion detect recording only but I cannot seem to tweak the settings enough where it will detect motion from a person at night so I need the 24 hour recording so I don't miss anything.
Anyone know if this is possible?

Hello Brendan,
You have not specified the model number of the system. But with most DVRs' , you have an option to schedule recording for motion detection along with full time recording. So it will record motion also and show this separately in the playback timeline.
