One of my IP3M-943 outdoor cameras is emailing me motion detection alerts at random times during the night, even though alerts (both motion and tamper) are disabled.
Last night using Amcrest View Pro, I verified alerts were disabled before I went to bed and again when I woke up. Even so, the camera had sent a dozen emails from during the night that motion was detected.
Am I missing something? Is there any reason for the camera to send alerts when they are disabled?

Re: Motion alerts when alerts are disabled.
Suggestions:
If you use Amcrest Cloud, check motion detect settings in cloud for any conflicts. Cloud can override camera settings. Also check any other programs used that have camera access.
Another thing to try:
Instead of using disable Motion Detect, change the motion detect schedule and see how that works.

Re: Motion alerts when alerts are disabled.
I found the reason for the alerts. It turns out the camera motion detection was being enabled. I had forgotten that my home automation controller enables that one camera every night from 8pm to dawn via HTTP GET commands (i.e. camera API commands).
I'm getting numerous false triggers due to moths attracted to the IR LEDs, so I'll disable the night time motion alerts from now on.
Thanks.
