I have the Amcrest NV4432E PoE NVR and I have 12 cameras currently plugged into the NVR (ports 10.1.1.30 to 10.1.1.42). These ports keep changing every 48 hours and it messes up my entire camera numbering and ordering.
How do I make these camera ports static? I tried calling tech support and the tech that I spoke to was extremely rude and was inconsistent with his answer. One minute saying that it had to be changed through the NVR, the next minute saying it had to be changed through the pc software program. I had tried both and cannot find the option to make the NVR ports static.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Make NVR ports static
Re: Make NVR ports static
Hello amcrestnoob,
The NVR does not allow you to change or set port numbers for cameras. It automatically assigns ports based on the port number camera is connected to.
If it does not work in the order you could try doing a factory default under system settings and this should correct the issue.

Re: Make NVR ports static
Doing a factory default didn't fix my issue, instead it erased all my camera settings!
