Mac ID Doesn’t match

In the amcrest app camera info the Mac Id doesn’t match what my router says. Why is this? IP cameras.

Hello and Welcome to the Forum.

It might be that you are using a Shared Mac setting in your Router, or maybe you are using a Mesh Router system that gives out different Mac addresses.

I always thought the MAC ID was a fixed hardware setting. Not using a Shared Mac setting in the router. I do have a mesh system, but don't understand how that can give out a Mac address.

It's no biggie. I am just curious.
