So I have a 4mp Mini POE IP camera that I am looking to replace. Right now I have 4 of them in use. There are some features that I have come to use and in some cases don't want to do with out. so while some of the Manuals have limited details of cameras I am looking for users with the camera already and have found that it does have such feature.
So while I was looking at the IP2M-866 Mini PTZ I don't think that is going to work. 1 It is going down in MP from 4 to 2mp and from the looks of it I don't think it will mount where I want to place it seeing the one in question that I really need this feature on is placed upside down. I think this would damage the 866. I am sure I could make a mounting area. It would just need to be after the nesting season is over..
So if you have a Camera that has zoom ability could you look in the menu and see if it offers a near focus. I have added a picture from the camera menu where I have mine set to Very Close focus. It Works great and I would really like it to have a built in Speaker. This way it would mean I don't have to add an external one to the area where I have to mount this. Would prefer PTZ however static zoom could work.
Thanks in Advance

Two-way audio is standard. RTSP implementation is possible by two very simple methods. PoE is easily accomplished as is adding an external antenna if clean enough (and private) wi-fi is available as an alternate option. Night time performance is also superb as displayed below.

Nice night picture, However looking to stay with Amcrest for replacement and while the camera you are showing has a nice picture it isn't going to offer that close up picture that I am needing. If you look at the picture below, you can see that the house in the background is blurry, That is because the PTZ camera has been setup with a Close Focus ability. However if you look at the second picture, This was taken from a Snapshot saved to my FTP that I just took a snapshot from for this posting. This is why I want to replace this camera. While it has Close focus setup at strange times the camera will just go back to a normal setup and not be close anymore. When I go look at the cameras settings they are still setup with close focus it is just the camera has a mind of it's own some times.. So that is why I want to replace with new camera that has same ability. I mean even if I have to setup a PTZ Schedule with the ability to make presets with my own Fucus settings like I can with this camera as well.. However it just does it's own thing every now and again. So it is time for an upgrade..
Be Safe.
