So yesterday I was messing with the settings and enabled the "IP / MAC Address" filter (from my desktop PC); I added the MAC of my cell phone, but NO IP's at all, thinking since cell phones never have a static IP it would be pointless to add one. Saved it without any error notices, warnings, etc.
Now, I'm completely unable to login to the web ui and make any settings changes, or view the camera from my desktop PC. It says my IP isn't in the IP filter list. I also can't login to the web ui from that cell phone. It's as if it's not even seeing the matching MAC address. At this point I'm stuck, and can't make any settings changes at all.
Is there some way OTHER than doing a hard reset? Even if it's some sort of 'tricky', more advanced way, such as logging into the cam via SSH or something, and hand editing a file that adds more IP's to a list? I spent MUCH time configuring things just right, and fighting with a lot of shortcomings/bugs in the Amcrest software to get it where it's at now, and seriously don't want to have to go through that all over again.
TIA
